New building after 35 years

"The old one was completely over," said Bernhard Kunz in his interview. We had to smile a little. This industry also brings constant change, especially in the production of asphalt recycling. Thanks to the innovative process technologies of the new plant, BHZ is currently running the most modern asphalt plant in Switzerland and has taken a big step into the future in the field of recycling. For us, it was a great honor to document this new construction on film.

Many screws and everything by hand

So many individual elements, which now have to be raised from zero to forty meters - by human craftsmanship. The serene assembly team from Croatia impressed us right at the beginning of the first construction phase. The type of people and the way they worked together were crucial for the film.

Image + Music

The combination of interview and set-up work was a big challenge in film editing. Not too much talking, but not too little either. We wanted to give the construction documentary what it deserved. So we decided to just let the images and music do their thing.
